Registration is open for pitching clinics for players in grades 2-5 who are interested in learning to pitch. The clinics are geared towards players who are new to pitching, want to try it out or want to improve fundamentals

Wednesdays, 6-7pm on 2/4, 2/11, 2/25, 3/4 (no session during Feb break), Lincoln-Sudbury High School, $50

We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with Framingham Youth Softball for the 2026 Spring Season.  This partnership will allow SGS to better align our Spring leagues with USA Softball age levels and create more opportunities for age-appropriate development and competition. The goal will be to enter teams made up of only Sudbury players in each division.  Games will be played at fields in Sudbury and Framingham.

We are optimistic that this new partnership will continue to create a fun experience for our players while expanding SGS’s offerings at each age level. 

Instructional Level - grades K-1:

• Season schedule will run from April 26th through June 7th
• Practice/Games will be on Sunday at 9:00a and Tuesday evenings
• The Instructional Level is designed to teach the fundamentals of the game, provide time to practice skills through various drills, and to play a short, controlled scrimmage twice per week
• Coaches pitch and tees may be used for hitting. Coaches keep the practices and games moving.

Junior B - grades 2-3:

• The Junior B level is the next step of play and focuses on strengthening the fundamentals while introducing situational awareness. Umpires are not used at this level.
• There will be two games per week on Sunday at 11:30a and Wednesday evenings
• There will also be one practice per week on Tuesday
• Kids will be encouraged to pitch with coaches coming in to pitch in order to move the game along
• Season schedule will run from April 13th to June 12th, with the first two weeks being practice only pending field permits and games starting on April 26th

Junior A - grades 4-5:

• The Junior A level is the next step of play and umpires are used at each game
• There will be two games per week on Sunday at 2:00p and Thursday evenings
• There will also be one practice per week on Monday
• Season schedule will run from April 13th to June 12th, with the first two weeks being practice only pending field permits and games starting on April 26th
• A 2-week playoff schedule will run from June 1st to June 12th

 Senior Level - grades 6-8:

• The Senior level is our oldest level and virtually all of the USA Softball rules are in play.
• There are two games per week on Sunday at 4:30p and Friday evenings
• There will also be at least one practice per week, set by the coach
• Season schedule will run from April 13th to June 12th, with the first two weeks being practice only pending field permits and games starting on April 26th.
• A 2-week playoff schedule will run from June 1st to June 12th
